YEREVAN. – The materials on the electoral bribing at polling station 4/27 have been sent to Armenia’s Special Investigation Service and a criminal case has been launched, Armenia’s General Prosecutor’s Office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Armen Matevosyan was detained for distributing bribes. A large amount of money and a list of citizens' names were found at him. It came out that he has already given money to two people so they and their families will vote for Prosperous Armenia Party.

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations – Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.

For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
