YEREVAN. – First Instance Courts of Armenia received 16 appeals on Sunday on making corrections of the voting lists.

3 appeals were received at Kentron and Nork-Marash Court of Yerevan city, two were rejected while the other was not accepted, court department representative Arsen Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

6 appeals were received at Avan and Nor Nork Court, 5 were satisfied and one was rejected.

2 appeals were received at Arabkir and Kanaker Zeytun Court, one was satisfied the other rejected.

5 appeals were received at Syunik Region Court, 4 were rejected, while one was satisfied on making corrections in the voting lists.

Eight political parties and one block participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
