Thirty children and six adults sought medical attention after a bus accident today on an excursion, the Ministry of Health of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

All the injured underwent the necessary medical examinations at the provincial medical center and were discharged.

Three children, however, were taken to Yerevan for further examination.

According to doctors, there is no life-threatening risk.

Today, at around noon, a van and a minibus collided in Ashtarak city.

There were about 18 passengers in the minibus, mainly children who were traveling from a summer camp to Karin village on an excursion.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigative Department of Armenia, and law enforcement is ascertaining the identities of the owners of these vehicles, their drivers, and the injured.
