YEREVAN. - Gallup International publishes final results of the exit-poll, according to which Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is leading with 43.3 percent. Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) occupies the second place with 29.3 percent, while Heritage is the third with 6.5 percent. As a matter of fact, Armenian National Congress (ANC) received 6.4 percent, however is out of the next parliament, as blocs should have polled over 7 percent.

Orinats Yerkir received 6.2 percent and ARF Dashnaktsutyun 5.2. Among other parties which also are out of the new parliament, are Armenian Democratic Party 0.6, Armenian Communist Party 2.2 and United Armenians 0.4 percent.

Nearly 22,000 respondents participated in the poll, out of which 10,000 refused to answer.

Eight political parties and one block participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
