I want to remind what path we took in 2024. We were walking on the edge. If we had not made those decisions, today the line of contact would have passed through the depths of Tavush Province at best. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this during Wednesday’s question-and-answer session with the government at the National Assembly of Armenia, referring to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation and demarcation process.

“We [i.e. Armenia] were going to fight not only from the front, but also from the rear. Where are those people who were saying Kirants [village] will be emptied? Today, 51 houses are being built in Kirants. Today, Kirants is a crossroads, because an interstate highway passes through it, which is now safer than ever,” Pashinyan said.

Speaking about the military industry in Armenia, he noted: “Yesterday they told me a number, how much contract our military industry has signed. I ask, how much, they answer me, so many million dollars. I look at that number, I say, ‘Could you be mixing something up?”

“Today’s Armenia is the greatest successful project, the greatest success story, with all its victims and sacrifices. And it is that project that people wanted to destroy. And those who wanted to destroy, destruction awaits them,” the Armenian premier added, in particular.
