YEREVAN. – Unofficial results are available from 296 precincts, including several from Yerevan, Shant TV channel reports.

196,172 votes have been counted, which are distributed as follows:

Prosperous Armenia Party – 28 percent (54,863)

Heritage - 7 percent (13,789)

Armenian National Congress – 7.4 percent (14,482)

Democratic Party of Armenia -0.5 percent (943)

ARF Dashnaktsutyun – 5.4 percent (10,562)

Communist Party of Armenia – 1.3 percent (2,638)

Republican Party of Armenia - 44.6 percent (87,564)

United Armenians Party – 0.2 percent (423)

Orinats Yerkir – 5.6 percent (10,938)

Eight political parties and one bloc participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocs - over 7%.
