YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) counted 7 percent of votes as of 03.00 a.m. The results are as follows:

Republican Party of Armenia 52.87% (56,228)

Prosperous Armenia Party 29.57% (31,451)

Armenian National Congress 3.61% (3,842)

Heritage 2,97% (3,173)

Orinats Yerkir 4.62% (4,909)

ARF Dashnaktsutyun 5.21% (5,546)

Communist Party of Armenia 0.72% (768)

Democratic Party of Armenia 0.23% (246)

United Armenians Party 0.18% (187)

Eight political parties and one bloc participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocs - over 7%.
