The citizens of Armenia had the opportunity to express their will in the elections. We are not dissatisfied with the results of the elections, we are dissatisfied that our state has not matured enough to allow so many electoral bribes to be distributed. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a press briefing after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.

“The results of the [parliamentary] elections [on June 7], in particular the results recorded by the [ruling] Civil Contract party, are invulnerably legitimate, and the results of the elections, at least in this respect, express the free expression of will of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. And there are dozens of criminal cases and recordings published regarding the distribution of dozens of electoral bribes by the opposition,” Pashinyan said.
