Oil prices rose slightly Friday morning, but the market ended the week with a sharp decline amid signing of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding.
Accordingly, Brent crude oil futures for August delivery were trading at $79.96 per barrel on the ICE Futures stock exchange in London, up $0.11 (0.14%) from their previous close. On Thursday, they had risen $0.3 (0.38%) to $79.85 per barrel.
And the price of July WTI oil futures went up by $0.37 (0.45%) to $76.97 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) online trading. But in the previous session, it had fallen by $0.19 (0.25%) to $76.6 per barrel.
