President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly said that Russia is ready for talks with Europe, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated.
"The [Russian] president has repeatedly said that we [i.e. Russia] are ready for talks [with Europe]. We were not the ones who initiated the reduction of these contacts to zero," the Kremlin spokesperson told reporters.
