The meeting between the US and Iran in Switzerland planned for Friday has been postponed, Iran’s foreign ministry said, Reuters reports.

According to the ministry, the talks could be rescheduled to the coming days; moreover, further discussion of a final agreement depends on the implementation of individual points of the memorandum of understanding between the parties.

Earlier, the parties signed a memorandum that provides for the cessation of military operations and the start of technical consultations thereafter.
