Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel has announced that his country's army has received full freedom of action in southern Lebanon to prevent any security threat.
In a video message, Netanyahu noted that the instructions of the Israeli leadership and Defense Minister Israel Katz remain unchanged: the Israeli military can act without restrictions when it comes to protecting the residents of the northern regions of Israel.
Netanyahu added that Israel does not plan to withdraw troops from southern Lebanon, stating that the Israeli military will remain there as long as necessary to ensure security.
