YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s exchange rate increased on the very first day following Armenia’s parliamentary elections, and this was anticipated overall. 

The dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 392.94/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday, and this is a 0.15-percent—or a 0.59-point—rise from the previous trading session on May 4.

The total sales were $2.4 million.

The dollar’s exchange rate grew at Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, too. Some exchange offices have increased the dollar’s purchase rate to up to AMD 392/$1 and the minimum sale rate is at 393.5/$1.
