Bloomberg has published an article on Armenia's recent foreign policy actions.

The article notes that Yerevan is gradually moving out of the orbit of Russian influence and deepening relations with the European Union (EU).

According to Bloomberg, the secretary of Armenia’s Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, will be in Gdansk, Poland, Wednesday and Thursday to attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference, his office said Tuesday. The forum, co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine, is expected to bring together delegations from about 100 countries.

The aforesaid Armenian official's visit takes place against the backdrop of EU support for Armenia to mitigate the consequences of Russia's trade restrictions on the country, Bloomberg writes.

The article notes that Russia has recently imposed restrictions on a number of Armenian goods, which Yerevan has described as a politically motivated move.

Bloomberg reflects also on Armenia's domestic political and economic processes, noting that the country is striving to balance its foreign policy directions while simultaneously expanding cooperation with the West.
