Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: [Armenian] Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan has written a letter to the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Anton Alikhanov, asking to give him the opportunity to participate in the trade and economic forum to be held in Yekaterinburg on July 6-7.

Papoyan, according to sources in the [Armenian economy] ministry, is leaving [for Russia] to discuss with the Russian side the issues of export from Armenia and the issue of Russian sanctions [on Armenian products]. However, there has been no response to the letter until now.

In Russia, they are considering whether to reject Papoyan's request for participation or accept [it], trying to humiliate the minister during the forum. In fact, the [Armenian] authorities are making efforts to normalize Armenian-Russian relations.
