If technical problems do not arise, this year we want to start construction work practically on the ground immediately. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a press briefing Thursday, commenting on the course of Armenia's integration into the large-scale Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) infrastructure project.

Pashinyan said that an active and in-depth work process is currently underway, within the framework of which the relevant teams are conducting engineering surveys on the spot.

"The process is moving forward, starting with the fact that work groups are studying possible communication routes, transport hubs, and power lines on the spot. Now, almost on a weekly, if not daily basis, this or that engineering, constructional, planning, financial or logistical issue is being discussed," the Armenian premier said.

Pashinyan specifically noted that at this phase, the promotion of the strategic logistics corridor does not encounter any obstacles at the state level.

“There are no obstacles from a political and financial point of view, but purely technical and organizational issues may arise,” the Armenian prime minister concluded.
