Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia is shifting the discussion on the topic of the country’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to the realm of demagogy, said Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Maria Zakharova in a comment.
“We have become familiar with the statements made by Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at Armenia’s government session on June 25, as well as the words he made during his interaction with reporters following it. It is obvious that Armenia’s prime minister is deviating the discussion to the realm of demagogy, as he had already done in connection with Yerevan’s so-called freezing of its participation in the CSTO [i.e. the Collective Security Treaty Organization],” the Russian MFA spokesperson noted.
