Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Sulkhan Tamazashvili has arrived in Armenia on his first official visit, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports.
“Sulkhan Tamazashvili will have a bilateral meeting with Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan, as well as visit police departments of the Republic of Armenia together with the delegation and get acquainted with their activities on site,” the statement adds.
Within the framework of his official visit to Yerevan, Tamazashvili is scheduled to meet also with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and National Security Service director Andranik Simonyan.
Sulkhan Tamazashvili was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia in April.
