YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Dmitry Medvedev on his appointment to the post of Prime Minister.

President Sargsyan expressed gratitude to Medvedev for his efforts on strengthening the Armenian-Russian strategic relations and personal contribution to the Karabakh peace process.

“Important meetings of presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan, held at your initiative, your consistent efforts into bringing closer the positions of the conflicting parties on settlement principles which were approved by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states, deserve deep appreciation,” the message reads.
