Currently, the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project is being implemented in the format of Armenia-US, a respective a agreement has been signed, which is currently in the implementation phase, Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan on Wednesday told reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia.

To the remark that Russia doubts the effectiveness of the TRIPP project without its participation, and asked whether Russia's engagement in the TRIPP project could be acceptable for Armenia in any format, the deputy foreign minister of Armenia said: "I would not like to make any speculations, saying anything about the future at this time. I think it is not worth it."

When asked if the TRIPP project is implemented, will it be implemented in accordance with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) rules, Safaryan gave a positive answer, noting: “At the moment, the Republic of Armenia is a member of the EAEU and the EAEU transit rules are in force.”

“The EAEU customs regulations are implemented by our customs authorities, so we do not see any issues there. No issues arise at this phase,” the deputy foreign minister of Armenia added.
