The Constitutional Court (CC) of Armenia is retiring to a separate room to rule on the petition by political forces, CC president Arman Dilanyan announced Wednesday.

Dilanyan added that the decision will be publicized by the end of Saturday, and the parties will be notified of the specific time one hour in advance.

Earlier, the CC heard the closing arguments of the parties, the respondent, the co-respondents, and the third party.

The Constitutional Court’s consideration of the case, which was joined based on petitions from seven political forces challenging the results of the regular parliamentary elections in Armenia held on June 7, had begun on June 26.

The Central Electoral Commission is the respondent in the case, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia are the co-respondents, and the ruling Civil Contract party is a third party.
