The Lexus UX300h compact crossover now has a new special trim called Shining Essence, which will be offered only in the domestic market of Japan, reports Drom.ru.

The features of Shining Essence are purely stylistic. In this trim, the grille is in silver color, the same shade is also used for the internal elements of the headlight units. The wheel arch extensions are body-colored, and the 18-inch alloy wheels have a metallic coating.

For the first time in Lexus history, the decorative panels in the cabin have a “multi-layer mesh structure.” The seats are covered with perforated artificial leather. The front seats are equipped with ventilation and heating as standard.

In addition, among others, there is a system of all-round vision cameras—with the "transparent floor" function, electric opening and closing of the trunk lid, and color projection display.

The Lexus UX300h hybrid system includes a 2.0-liter M20A-FXS gasoline engine with a capacity of 152 horsepower and 188 Nm of torque, a 1VM electric motor with a capacity of 83 kW (113 hp) and an indicator of 206 Nm, an eCVT variator, and a lithium-ion battery. Drive: front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
