Demand among Russian women for solo travel increased by 47% in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025; most often, female residents of Russia choose Turkey and Egypt for solo tours. This is stated in a study by the package tour booking service Onlinetours, reviewed by TASS.

According to the study, the most expensive destinations for solo travel are Australia (1.05 million rubles per tour), the Seychelles (an average bill of 286 thousand rubles), and the Maldives (282 thousand rubles). The most budget-friendly trips are to Belarus (48.9 thousand rubles), Armenia (60.9 thousand rubles), and Azerbaijan (71.2 thousand rubles).

The company concluded that the top 20 popular destinations included not only traditional beach resorts. Mainland China, despite its remoteness, accounted for 2% of bookings. Interest in CIS countries is growing: Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan are gaining popularity as a budget-friendly alternative to long-distance travel.
