The talks on a final deal with the US will not begin if Washington's threats continue, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated.
"Millions of proud Iranians rallied in unity to honor Grand Ayatollah Khamenei and his legacy. Neither them nor our Brave Armed Forces are moved by any threats. Para 13 of the MoU is clear: Negotiations on final Deal will not commence if threats continue Honor your signature," the Iranian foreign minister wrote on X.
Iran and the US signed a memorandum remotely on the night of June 18, which envisages an end to the military conflict that began on February 28. Also, the memorandum sets timeframes for when the US will lift its naval blockade and Iran will restore navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The main mediators are Pakistan and Qatar.
