At least 18 people, including four police officers, were injured in explosions in central Damascus. This was reported on July 7 by the Syrian state news agency SANA, citing the Syrian Interior Ministry.

“Two explosions occurred near the Ministry of Tourism in Damascus, injuring 18 people, including four police officers,” the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

The Syrian Interior Ministry also reported that law enforcement officers had discovered explosive devices in the center of the Syrian capital in advance. Despite this, specialists did not manage to defuse them before they detonated.
