Speaker of the Grand National Assembly (parliament) of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, assessed the ongoing processes in the South Caucasus as well as the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and stated that the achievement of an agreement between the parties has already reached a certain phase.
Kurtulmus said this in an interview with the Turkish state-run TRT television, answering questions about Turkey's diplomatic activities, its mediation efforts between various countries, international summits being held in the country, as well as regional processes.
"The process of reaching an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Caucasus has already reached a certain phase. May God grant that here too, with Turkey's participation, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan form a united center, a united force. Turkey's constructive vision has a significant contribution to all of this," the Turkish parliament speaker stated.
