Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan personally greeted U.S. leader Donald Trump at Ankara airport before the start of their talks in the Turkish capital, footage of which was shown by the Turkish state broadcaster TRT Haber.

According to the broadcaster, after the official welcoming ceremony Trump headed to the presidential complex, where his talks with Erdogan are scheduled.

It is expected that the leaders will discuss bilateral relations between Turkey and the United States, regional security issues, the situation in Ukraine, as well as the agenda of the NATO summit taking place in Ankara.
