U.S. President Donald Trump said that videos featuring him are the most popular content on the social network TikTok and have been watched by about half of the world's population.

"I saw several people criticizing TikTok, saying that TikTok is so bad and dangerous. <...> The numbers were published yesterday. Do you know who is number one on TikTok? I am number one on TikTok," Trump said at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte before the opening of the alliance summit's plenary session in Ankara.

The U.S. president also claims that videos featuring him were able to garner 4 billion views.
