French President Emmanuel Macron appeared wearing sunglasses during the group photo session of the heads of state and government participating in the NATO summit in Ankara.

In the so-called family photo, Macron stood between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

Macron has repeatedly appeared in public wearing sunglasses. Agence France-Presse, citing sources close to the French leader, reported that the president of France has an “eye problem.” Earlier, Florian Philippot, leader of the French party The Patriots, joked that Macron wore dark glasses because of a slap from his wife Brigitte.
