Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: In the backstage of the authorities, [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's [recent] visit to Russia is being discussed with concern.

Nikol Pashinyan, who left to participate in the international industrial exhibition held in Yekaterinburg on July 6, who himself had initiated that visit, according to our information, was unable to convince Moscow and fulfill his public promise to resolve the issue of [the current ban on Armenian] exports [to Russia]. Let us recall that before the [parliamentary] elections [in Armenia on June 7], he was boldly promising that he would go to Moscow, and in a few days all issues would fall into place.

Pashinyan went to Moscow, but no issue, especially related to exports, was resolved. The Russian side listened to him coolly and repeated the previous answers [that] “your products do not correspond to our market.”

Meanwhile, in reality, it is clear that they [i.e. Moscow] are pushing Pashinyan to make a clear choice between the RF [i.e. the Russian Federation] and the EU. (...). The demand is but one: to forego TRIPP [i.e. the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project] and "not to play games with the EU."
