The terms of providing a budget loan have been established, according to which it will be possible to sign agreements for the implementation of the project for the modernization and extension of the operational period of the second power unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP).

The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia. Within the framework of this project, 20,111,000,798 drams have been envisaged as a budget loan in 2026.

Moreover, the company cannot currently sign an agreement with the Ministry of Finance of Armenia, since the terms of providing a budget loan have not been established.

The adoption of this draft decision will enable to sign budget loan agreements within the framework of the ANPP modernization program, to make payments stipulated by the agreements, to sign relevant agreements, and to complete the work within the established timeframes.
