Statements by U.S. President Donald Trump that the ceasefire regime with Iran is no longer in effect effectively indicate non-compliance with the memorandum of understanding between the countries. This was stated in a press release by the foreign ministry of the Islamic republic.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran views the statements by the president and other American officials addressed to the Iranian people as a direct admission of non-compliance with the memorandum of understanding,” the statement said.

It is noted that this step once again demonstrates the “treachery, baseness, and militarism” of the American ruling elite.
