Iran is working on the gradual restoration of navigability through the Strait of Hormuz; shipping traffic has already reached 50% of its pre-war level, but the United States is seriously disrupting this process. This was reported by the naval forces of the IRGC.

“Over the past two weeks, the warriors of the resistance have stabilized control over the Strait of Hormuz and ensured its security. They have also gradually reopened it, increasing capacity to about 50% of the pre-war level,” the Iranian state broadcaster IRIB quoted the IRGC as saying.

The navy also noted that U.S. interference “in determining movement routes” is “seriously disrupting the course of the gradual resumption of operations” of the strait.
