The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project will operate on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the regulations of which are stipulated in the framework agreement signed between Armenia and the US in May.
The spokesperson for the Armenian foreign ministry, Ani Badalyan, stated this in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s inquiry regarding the controversial statement of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Bayramov again spoke about the so-called “Zangezur Corridor;” moreover, he claimed that its entry and exit points will be located on the territory of Azerbaijan. “According to the agreement reached on the section of the Zangezur Corridor passing through the territory of Armenia, the United States is also participating in this process.
Negotiations are mainly conducted between the United States and Armenia, since this issue concerns the territory of Armenia. At the same time, the reality is that both the entry and exit points of this corridor are located on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan," the Azerbaijani foreign minister stated.
