Denmark has made an additional contribution of more than €10 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, the country’s Ministry of Energy reports.

The new contribution of €10.66 million increased Denmark’s total financial assistance within the fund to more than €78.5 million.

“This is important support for Ukraine’s energy resilience, especially in the process of preparing for the upcoming winter period,” said Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.

It was previously reported that Sweden also transferred additional funding of more than €120 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. In addition, the Swedish government decided to allocate Ukraine a new aid package of about €140 million for 2026 to support the energy sector ahead of winter.

At the end of June, Estonia made an additional contribution of €125,000 to the fund.
