In Vladivostok, a 28-year-old pregnant woman survived after falling from the window of an apartment on the seventh floor. The expectant mother suffered only bruises, and the child's condition is assessed as satisfactory, the regional Ministry of Health reported.

The woman was 30 weeks pregnant. According to her, she could not sleep at night and decided to wipe the window. Standing on the windowsill, she slipped and fell backward from the height of the seventh floor.

A neighbor ran to the scene and called an ambulance. The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. local time. The intensive care team arrived nine minutes after the call.

Medics found the victim had multiple abrasions on her chest and tenderness in the abdominal area. She was given the necessary assistance, fitted with a cervical collar and a leg splint, and then taken to Vladivostok Clinical Hospital No. 2.

According to the examination results, doctors did not find a single fracture in the woman. Only soft tissue bruises were diagnosed. An ultrasound showed that the child was fine, with no threat to his or her life or health.

"The very fact that the woman survived a fall from such a height can already be called a miracle. However, the examination results turned out to be even more surprising: despite falling from the seventh floor, the patient was found to have no fractures at all," the regional Health Ministry said.

The woman herself said she was happy about the favorable outcome and thanked the doctors for their help.

"My baby was not harmed. I am very happy that I am all right and that I stayed alive after such a fall from a great height," she said.
