Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which the sides discussed the latest developments in the region, the office of the head of the Pakistani government reported.
Sharif expressed concern over the recent escalation of tensions between Iran and the United States and called on Tehran and all parties to the conflict to exercise restraint.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister emphasized the need to take steps to reduce tensions and prevent any further deterioration of the situation in the region.
