U.S. President Donald Trump ordered American flags to be lowered across the country in memory of Senator Lindsey Graham, who died earlier, CNN reports.

The flags will remain at half-staff until July 18.

In the relevant order, Trump noted the “remarkable life and achievements of Senator Lindsey Graham,” calling him “a dear friend and a truly great man.”

The flag on the North Lawn of the White House was lowered on Sunday morning at about 7:30 a.m. local time.
