While many countries, especially now, are having difficulties in accessing fuel sources, Armenia relies on reliable source like Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated at the opening of the 4th Shusha [i.e. Shushi] Global Media Forum, Azerbaijan’s state-run AZERTAC news agency reports.
Azerbaijan and Armenia have initialed a peace treaty at the White House, with the participation of US President Donald Trump. After that, Azerbaijan has unilaterally lifted all restrictions imposed on Armenia, Aliyev said.
The Azerbaijani president announced that more than 40 thousand tons of various cargoes have been transported to Armenia from Russia, Kazakhstan, and some other countries via Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan itself has started supplying oil products to Armenia, and to date more than 10 thousand tons have been delivered to the country, he added.
According to Aliyev, at a time when many countries, especially now, are experiencing difficulties with fuel, Armenia relies on a reliable source like Azerbaijan. Otherwise, it would have to look for gasoline and diesel fuel in other parts of the world.
