The construction on the new administrative complex of the Sevan water rescue squad of Armenia has been completed.

On Monday, the opening ceremony of the new administrative complex took place, in which Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan and US Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia David Allen also participated.

Arpine Sargsyan, expressing gratitude to the US government, the US Embassy in Armenia, and all partners for assisting in the construction of the new administrative complex of the special water rescue station, emphasized that the cooperation formed over the years has turned into a constructive partnership and friendship.

In turn David Allen, reflecting on the cooperation formed between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia and the US government, noted that it is continuously being strengthened, including also the programs implemented with the Rescue Service of Armenia. In this context, he stressed that the new administrative complex will contribute to the creation of safer and more comfortable working conditions for Armenia’s rescuers.

The construction of the administrative complex of the Sevan water rescue station began in the summer of 2025. Its construction was carried out with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, the US European Command, and the military team of the US Embassy in Armenia.
