US President Donald Trump is set to reflect on the conflict between his country and Iran in his televised address to the nation on Thursday, Axios reports.

According to a source close to the US leader's advisers, Trump will talk about the US presidential elections, provide the latest data on US-Iranian military operations, and address several other matters he considers important.

It's going to be a mix of topics, the adviser said, referring to the upcoming address to the nation.

Speaking about developments in Iran, the source added that the situation is changing every minute, but Trump wants to address it.

Earlier, the American leader announced on Truth Social about his televised address to the nation planned for Thursday evening, but did not specify the topic of his address.

MS Now television reported that the US president's address will, in particular, concern foreign interference in the 2020 US presidential elections.
