Toyota Motor has released a new special version of the Corolla Sport hatchback on the Japanese domestic market — it carries the 60th Anniversary suffix and marks the anniversary of the launch of the first-generation Corolla.
The special version’s features are purely stylistic. There are badges with the special series name on the front fenders, and a unique paint option is offered for the body: the main color is mustard (yellow metallic), while the roof is finished in black gloss, Drom.ru reports.
Inside, there is a dashboard trimmed in synthetic leather with the special trim logo and exclusive front seats. Their upholstery uses a combination of synthetic and genuine leather. The pedals have aluminum covers, giving them a sporty look.
At the same time, changes have been made to the trim levels of the regular Corolla Sport in the Japan-spec lineup. The GZ grade now comes with 18-inch alloy wheels of an original design (with a machined front surface), and in addition, an interior trim option using the same combination of genuine and synthetic leather has been added.
