In the 26 days between the signing of the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding and the resumption of the American blockade, Tehran supplied foreign buyers with more than $6 billion worth of petroleum products, writes the Washington Examiner.

Iran shipped more than 80 million barrels of crude oil and petroleum products between June 18, when the first blockade was lifted, and its reimposition on July 13. However, the blockade around Iran was lifted before Tehran was able to ship all of its stored supplies, so about 30 million barrels of Iranian crude oil could not be sent.

Within the blockade perimeter, floating storage capacity for more than 60 million barrels of oil remains available, taking into account deliveries and returning vessels.
