Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had carried out strikes on a U.S. logistics center in Kuwait, state broadcaster IRIB reported.

According to the IRGC, the center, which it describes as “the main logistical and support base for the U.S. military in West Asia,” located in the Mina Abdullah port area, was “set on fire and destroyed” in response to new U.S. attacks on Iran.

Earlier, Al Jazeera, citing U.S. officials, reported that the U.S. armed forces had assisted Kuwait in defending against continuous Iranian attacks overnight into Wednesday.

According to them, the U.S. military deployed Patriot air defense missile systems to intercept Iranian aerial targets.

As Kuwait’s Defense Ministry reported, four members of the Kuwaiti armed forces were wounded as a result of an Iranian attack on a Kuwaiti navy vessel. In addition, the Iranian attacks caused fires at a number of sites in the country.
