Seven servicemen of the Iranian Army Ground Forces were killed and another 13 were wounded in a missile strike carried out by the US Armed Forces on a military facility in the southeast of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported by the Iranian army’s public relations department, IRNA reports.
According to the department, the American side fired 13 missiles at one of the ground forces’ barracks in Bampur district (Sistan and Baluchestan province). Personnel of the 388th Brigade from the city of Iranshahr, consisting of career officers and conscripted servicemen, came under attack.
The command officially published the names of the dead: the victims of the attack were Sergeants Farshad Alavi and Reza Shafii, as well as conscripts Alireza Qasemi, Hossein Jafari, Abbas Hasanshahi, Abbas Hesamaddini, and Abolfazl Molai. All those injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
