US forces have begun a new wave of strikes on Iran. This was reported by the US Central Command.

"The strikes are targeting Iranian military capabilities used to pose threats to vessels freely transiting the Strait of Hormuz, an international waterway of vital importance to global trade. The US military is holding Iran accountable at the direction of the Commander in Chief," the US military said.

As reported by IRIB, an explosion occurred in Bandar Abbas.
