Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that the government would immediately deport Israeli citizens from the country following reports that Israeli nationals had participated in the construction of a private residential complex in Forest City, local media reported.

“If we find any Israeli citizen, we will deport them immediately because we do not recognize Israel,” he noted.

Israeli passport holders cannot enter Malaysia without the appropriate authorization, as Malaysia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Yesterday, local authorities called for an investigation into allegations that Israeli citizens with dual nationality were involved in the construction of a private residential complex in Forest City.
