The United States Central Command has completed a new series of strikes against Iran.

"US forces conducted strikes against Iranian command centers, air defense systems, missile and drone facilities, as well as coastal surveillance assets to further degrade Iran’s capability to threaten peaceful mariners aboard commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command utilized precision-guided munitions to hit targets in several locations, including Bandar Abbas. Earlier, US forces targeted coastal defenses and cruise missile positions on Greater Tunb Island during a 90-minute wave of strikes," the US military stated.

It is also reported that US forces enforced a naval blockade of Iran by neutralizing the unladen Curaçao-flagged oil tanker M/T Belma, which was attempting to head toward an Iranian port in the Persian Gulf.

According to Pars Today, a launch of an ATACMS short-range ballistic missile toward Iran was carried out from the territory of Kuwait.

Additionally, reports indicate that the US conducted strikes on the area surrounding a hospital in Ahvaz, which has since been evacuated. The hospital provides treatment to children suffering from oncological diseases.

As reported by Press TV, no one was injured as a result of the US airstrike on Semnan Airport. A side hangar was damaged, and several windows were shattered.
