U.S. President Donald Trump has instructed the U.S. Trade Representative to impose a 25% tariff on most Brazilian imports. This was reported by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
“President Lula and his government negotiated with the United States in bad faith. His economic policy is harmful to both Americans and Brazilians. Over the past year, Lula has put his ego above the interests of the Brazilian people, and these tariffs are the price for that,” he said.
