U.S. President Donald Trump announced new investments in weapons production in Pennsylvania totaling nearly $10 billion. The investments come at a time when the war in Iran has reduced U.S. supplies of Tomahawk cruise missiles, as well as Patriot and THAAD interceptors.

"Pennsylvania workers will build ships, submarines, trucks, produce weapons, and develop the industry that will ensure America’s status as the strongest and most powerful nation in world history," the U.S. president said, local media reported.
